Certificate in Ecological Consultancy
This course is truly unique and gives you the opportunity to launch your ecological consultancy career with a suite of knowledge, skills and experience. This is a real, practical alternative to a Master's degree.
This course aims to provide a complete training for those wishing to work within an ecological consultancy and includes a series of compulsory and optional field-skills courses and self-study tutorials, combined with an element of career planning.
Those students who wish to take their training and career development to a higher level can sign up for Certificate PLUS which includes a 1 month work training placement, as well as a one-to-one personalised career development tutorial with our Principal Ecologist/Managing Director.
The course is designed to fit around working full time and it is anticipated that it will take around 6 months to complete.
Course Details.
Please note that details given below are specific to the 2012 course which has now started. Whilst information about the content will not change significantly, we may make some alterations and price changes for the 2013 course.
Course content: We have provided a detailed course outline as well as a list of Frequently Asked Questions to help answer your queries.
Where: The intensive week and the additional short courses will be held at our training centre at Westpoint, Sidmouth Road, Exeter, EX5 1DJ. In case you need to stay overnight, we have provided a list of local accommodation.
When: The 2012 course has already started so we are no longer taking bookings. We will be running the course again in 2013, and the core week will be in April 2013.
Price: The prices for the 2013 course have not yet been finalised. In 2012 the standard course cost £1700 and the Certificate PLUS cost £2100, if you paid up front. All prices are inclusive of VAT. Follow this link for full details of the prices and easy payment options.
