This course is aimed at those who are familiar with using both Anabat and Analook, but want to take their sound analysis skills to a higher level. Course attendees are expected to be familiar with the basic functions of Analook before attending the course. The course is taught by Dr Sandie Sowler MIEEM who is a bat consultant with extensive experience of using the Analook software. During the course she will show participants how to use tools on Analook to assist with analysis of difficult to identify bat calls and social calls. During the course there will be a workshop session for difficult calls in which course attendees can share their own examples.

Equipment required:
You will need to bring a laptop, CF card, card reader, memory stick and some previously recorded Analook files. However, if you are likely to have problems obtaining this equipment please e-mail our office info@acornecology.co.uk for advice.

Where: Details of the course venue will be provided once a date has been set. In case you need to stay overnight in the Exeter area, we have provided a list of local accommodation.

When: There is currently no date set for the next Anabat level 3 course. However, if you are interested in attending this course in the future, please e-mail info@acornecology.co.uk. The course will run from ~09:00 to 17:00.

Price: The course is priced at £180 which includes lunch and a cream tea.
